The Course: 24.2 mile lap of Allegany State Park's park roadways. A triangular course with rolling hills.
Park roads are open to traffic during this event. Finish line 1/2 mile after the start at the crest of a slow rise.
Accurate and timely results via chip timing. Classes combined if less than 5 per group.

Raccoon Rally STXC Race

Raccoon Alley
Heart pounding Short Track Cross Country racing action takes entrants right smack dab through the center of all the Raccoon Rally action. Our 3/4 mile course is a leg and lung burner with a short section of single track and gravel road, a bit of field and tight twisty corners. Slammin' tunes, cheering fans and the chance to get warmed up for Sunday's big XC race is at hand! Beginner, Sport & Expert classes go for 15, 20 & 30-minutes during this amazingly challenging, fun and visible event. There are no age groups. Helmets mandatory. Registration at the starting line an hour before and to the start of the race. Bring the family to cheer you on and grab a spectator space around the course cuz this will be one fun event once again.
Accurate and immediate results with chip timing. Day-of entry only $10.00.

The Course: Fun and challenging rolling trails on the Art Roscoe XC Trail System. A variety of long & short climbs, descents, fast downhills and a 1-mile gravel road start/finish make for some great competition spread out over mile after mile of forest. Bova downhill-the last section of trail always has some entertainment factor depending on the weather.
Awards:
Medals 3-deep in the following age groups for all skill levels.
M/F: 13& Under, 14-15, 16-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+, Clydesdale (200lbs+) and Single Speed (Sport & Expert only)
Cash to top five overall experts.

in the huge rock formations of Thunder Rocks off ASP Road 2 just
5-miles from Camp Allegany.

Raccoon Rally Downhill
Saturday, June 27th
Start time: 2:00pm Ridge Run Leanto
One rider at a time will blast through the starting gate in hopes of the fastest run down the twisty
and dicey singletrack downhill that leads to the always challenging Bova serpentine gutter downhill finish.
Run times expected to be :45-1:30. Helmets Mandatory, armor suggested.
Each rider can take up to three runs. Marshals will be on-course with radio support/spotters.
Entry at the finish line at the base of Bova.
New for 2009: Riders must start 30-minutes after their last finish.
Riders must head back to the starting gate immediately following their runs to avoid event delays.
Starting line closes at 4:00pm. No exceptions.
Entrants will be required to ride to this starting line-vehicle traffic is not allowed on the trails-Park Policy.

Night Rides
Saturday 10:00pm departure from the Camp Allegany Midway Building doors
Bring your charged lights and join us on one of two rides through some of our XC trails.
A shorter and one longer ride will take you on a fun trek into the night on these guided rides.
Great Food! Come see our food booth for filling those hungry guts with some great grub. All proceeds help support the costs of the Raccoon Rally.
