The 2014 8 in the Rough Trail Run is calling all trail runners to kick off another wild-ride deep in the woods of Sprague Brook Park in Glenwood, New York! The Annual 8ITR is an 8.7-Mile trek through and around Park trails, single track and challenging climbs & descents. Participants enjoy mile after mile of challenging terrain and tight, twisty manicured single track trails. Three water stations on the course provide plenty of hydration options and the trails don't lie-It's all about stamina, preparation and sure-footedness as 8 in the Rough sets the record straight. Race headquarters is the vast & spacious Casino at Sprague Broook Park featuring plenty of parking and park facilities (restrooms & showers close by). A fun post-race lunch, party & great door prize pool rounds out one of the most anticipated events of the season. Intermediate level single track trails demand attention and fitness-come join in the action and see how you stack against this amazing course!

The Course: A gentle rolling mass start at 10am from the main parking lot sends runners to the wide, rolling trails of the XC ski loop.
